Complex, sweet and balanced! - The ultimate daily brew!
Expect notes of juicy ripe strawberry, a rich chocolate body, and a vibrant splash of tropical fruit on the finish. This SCA 83+ rated lot delivers a wonderfully complex, sweet, and comforting profile, showing off a beautifully clean cup. It shines beautifully through a filter and makes a remarkably smooth, fruit-forward espresso.
Huehuetenango is a legendary region for coffee lovers, and we've been obsessed with its unique profile for years. Tucked away in the non-volcanic, clay-rich highlands of northern Guatemala, these Bourbon and Caturra varieties are sustained by hot winds blowing from Mexico’s Tehuantepec plains. This unique microclimate shields the crops from frost, allowing the cherries to develop high up on the mountain slopes. This careful high-altitude growth combined with a traditional washed process results in a remarkably dense bean packed with deep natural sweetness, crisp fruit acidity, and unmatched structural clarity.
