This coffee is harvested at Finca El Gobiado Farm in El Salvador, located in the Apaneca Illamatepec mountains. The Alfaro family has owned and farmed coffee here
for four generations, where elevation, volcanic terrain and an ideal climate helps
their coffee production flourish.
The 2018/9 harvest has been processed two different ways to push flavour to its
limits. We’ve perfected individual roasting profiles for the beans to create two wildly
After harvest, Honey-process coffee is partially washed with a thin layer – the sticky
golden pulp reminiscent of honey -- left to dry on the bean. This process offers a
twist from traditional coffee production to produce a a complex and rich cup.
